SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Antiochos III ‘the Great’, 222-187 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 28 mm, 17.25 g), Tarsos or a subsidiary mint, circa 222-211. Diademed head of Antiochos III to right. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ - ANTIOXOY Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in his right hand and resting his left on grounded bow; to outer left and right, monograms; in exergue, bull butting left. SC 1035. Light marks and struck from a somewhat worn obverse die, otherwise, very fine.
